Teton River, Idaho | Bob Wick Photography
We, the undersigned visitors and residents who recreate, work, and live in the Teton River watershed -- or just love it from afar -- call on our elected leaders and state and federal agency decision-makers to protect the Teton River and its vital tributaries. They must be preserved in their clean, free-flowing condition so they can continue to support abundant fish and wildlife, agriculture, and outdoor recreation opportunities for current and future generations.
We believe there are cheaper, safer, and less environmentally damaging ways to meet eastern Idaho’s water needs than rebuilding the Teton Dam that failed a half-century ago.
